Vaathi starring Dhanush is set to hit the theaters on February 17 2023. However few weeks before the makers have revealed that the film is set to release on December 2. Prior to that the first song of the film, titled, “Vaa Vaathi”, post that the makers derived a consensus that the film will hit the theaters next year. The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash.
Posting the film posters, GVP wrote, “With renewed spirit, We will be bringing #Vaathi #SIRMovie to the theatres on 17 Feb 2023 (sic).”
As per a latest observation the Tamil stars are pairing up with the Telegu filmmakers likewise Sivakarthikeyan starrer Prince is helmed by Anudeep and Vijay starrer Varisu is helmed by Vamsi Paidipally. In line to the samecue, Vaathi, the Tollywood filmmaker Venky Atluri, launched the Telegu version titled Sir as well.
Vaathi also stars Samyuktha Menon, P Sai Kumar, Tanikella Barani, Samuthirakani and Aadukalam Naren in leading roles.
Dhanush was last seen in Naane Varuvean which was not received well at the box office while fans have high hopes from Vaathi. Dhanush has Captain Miller in his pipeline which sis directed by Arun Matheshwaran.
