Legendary Bollywood actress Mala Sinha turned 84 on November 11. The actress who made her debut in 1952 with her first adult role in Roshanara was not a famous name during that time but it gave her a nice launch into the film industry. But soon after she was featured in the iconic film Pyaasa (1957) by Guru Dutt. She became a famous name. She later did films with leading actors of those times. And Dharmendra was one of them. Dharmendra and Mala Sinha have worked together in several films like Aankhen, Lalkar, Anpadh, and Pooja Ke Phool. And shares a nice bond even today.

Mala Sinha in early ’60s was at the peak years of her career. And gave back to back hits in that decade. Her roles ranged from innocent village girl to “daring diva” roles in films like Gumrah, Do Kaliyan, Aasra, Maryada, and Mere Huzoor.
