Mom-to-be and TV star Dipika Kakar in a latest interview mentioned that she’d told her husband-actor Shoaib Ibrahim that she wishes to terminate her venture in the industry and quit acting.
During a conversation with First India Telly, Dipika averred, “I am enjoying this phase of pregnancy and welcoming our first child. The excitement is on another level. I started working at a very young age and continued for about 10–15 years at a stretch. As my pregnancy journey began, I told Shoaib that I don’t want to work and want to quit acting. I want to live as a housewife and mother.”
Shoaib Ibrahim too indicated in the interview that he might go for a break after their child is born. The actor is presently packed up with TV drama Ajooni.
In January, Dipika and Shoaib made a public announcement of their pregnancy. Dipika last appeared in Star Plus’ Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum in 2020.
