Emraan Hashmi who was once known as the serial kisser of the Bollywood took a big gap in his career. Now he has changed his serial kisser image and does films based on intense topics. Also, now he does only one film a year. He is coming back on the silver screen with film Cheat India. Its poster seems very interesting and its teaser is also out. The film talks about the education system in India.
The plot of the revolves around some true events, which features Emraan Hashmi as a professor, Rakesh Singh, who helps candidates around the country to clear their entrance examinations from various fields like Medical, Engineering and Banking sector by fraudulent means. The film is based on the corrupt education practices performed by many to get through college entrance exams, UPSC and others.
The film is directed by Soumik Sen and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Atul Kasbekar, Emraan and Tanuj Garg. It is scheduled to hit the silver screen on January 25, 2019.
