Team India are batting once again, taking a lead of more than 150 runs before jumping into action. During the England’s innings of batting, Virat Kohli celebrated Siraj’s wicket and danced in fun when ex cricketer Kaif said “Virat Kohli ka dance dekhiye” (Look at Virat Kohli’s dance) to which Virender Sehwag commented “cheaply” “ Chammiya ke jaise” to Virat’s dance.

Checkout the video and also the angry reaction by fans who proposed BCCI to remove such commentators.

    Second Innings recap –

India would be delighted with their bowling performance since they were able to build a huge 132-run first innings advantage.

Bairstow and Stokes got the day off to a good start, but Stokes, who was dropped twice, didn’t stick around for very long.

But Bairstow made the most of his winning streak, scoring his third consecutive century in as many Tests. Throughout his innings, he attacked the bowlers, but Shami returned to the attack to dismiss him. After getting rid of the tail, Mohammad Siraj completed with a four-wicket haul. Overall, the Indian pacers did a pretty good job of bowling, and with their skipper leading from the front.

    India’s first innings recap –

On Day 2 of the ongoing final Test match between India and England at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Saturday, India was bowled out for 416 runs. In the opening session of Day 2, Ravindra Jadeja pounded out 104 runs off 194 balls, including 13 fours. Jasprit Bumrah, meanwhile, contributed to his team’s 416 run total with an undefeated innings of 31 runs off 16 balls

Edgbaston has witnessed Jasprit Bumrah smashing some of the classically shots as Rishabh Pant’s blood has flown towards the tail-enders.

Jasprit Bumrah becomes a Test player to score the “Most Runs in an Over” and creates a world record as Brian Lara topped the same list with 28 runs before.

India struggled mightily against the top order on Day 1 and eventually fell to 90 for five. However, Rishabh Pant’s innings of 146 runs off of 111 balls on Day 1 at Stumps enabled them to score 338 for seven. While taking five wickets, James Anderson also gave up the most expensive over ever in a Test match. Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Stuart Broad, and Matthew Potts each claimed a dismissal at this time. The visitors, who are up 2-1 in the best-of-five series, will want to capitalise on their momentum and win it.

    Teams:

India (Playing XI): Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant(w), Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah(c)

England (Playing XI): Alex Lees, Zak Crawley, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes(c), Sam Billings(w), Matty Potts, Stuart Broad, Jack Leach, James Anderson
