ENG vs NZ: James Anderson completes 650 wickets after striking Latham in the first over

Tom Latham has failed to stay even for an over as James Anderson struck a fantastic swing delivery to break the stumps in the initial over of the third innings.

By taking Latham’s wicket, Jimmy also completes the record of bagging 650 wickets and that too in 171 games. It is a heroic performance by the 39-year-old as the England teammates celebrate with cheers for the brilliance act.

It is difficult for a pacer to bowl for such a long time and even if anyone intends to do they surely cannot keep their consistency for years but James has possibly done so. James is third in the most wickets and is behind the two legendary spinners Shane Warne and Muralitharan.

James Anderson is leading the most wickets for team England and Stuart Broad is in the second place with a difference of more than 100 wickets between both the contenders.

The perfect start and Test wicket number 6️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ for @jimmy9 🙌

England has thrived back in this particular Test match after New Zealand dominated their first innings which were of no help after England’s batters pulled off 500+ runs to trail by just 14 runs. The small amount of lead will surely disappoint the visitors who awaited something more in lead.

Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad in tandem. 😍
