Recent news about Badshah rapper who is known for his foot tapping and groovy dance numbers has just surfaced. Mumbai police is investigating a case of fake social media followers and so far they have arrested two people in this matter and also recorded the statements of them to check that whether or not if they are aware of the fake follower’s situation.

Let us tell you that not only the Badshah rapper has been summoned by the Mumbai police. Earlier radio jockey, Roshan Abbas, and sports commentator, Gaurav Kapur was also summoned by police. They were called in to record their statements for the ongoing investigation.

Mumbai Police Commissioner, Param Bir Singh said that Special Investigation Team (SIT) will look into the matter of fake media followers. After SIT investigated the matter they found that more than 100 companies are selling fake social media followers. The shocking part is that apart from these companies a global racket involving the creation of fake social media profiles was also busted by Mumbai Police.

The case came to light after Bhoomi Trivedi filed a case with the Mumbai Police regarding fake followers. Bhumi had said that some people are claiming to increase fake fan followings on social media by taking her name. The police took this matter seriously and during the investigation a large racket was revealed.
