    The E-commerce website Myntra is that considered one of the most commonly used portals for shopping. And there are reports that the brand will now change its logo. The reason for it is that it has been found offensive. And a complaint has also been filed for this.

    Many of us might be knowing about the famous E-commerce brand Myntra. But for the unversed, let us tell you that it is an online retailer for apparel and accessories in India. And also quite popular among the netizens. Although the website is always in demand. But in 2020 Myntra managed to achieve a hike of 51% traffic as compared to 2019. Meanwhile, a piece of news is popping up about its Logo. And as per the reports, it is being told that now the website will soon change its logo.

    Why is Myntra changing its logo?

    Logo as we all know is an essential factor in branding. And also acts as a bridge of communication and between the company and its target customers. But what if the customer finds it offensive. Well, this is exactly what happened. According to the recent report a woman named Naaz Patel, who is associated with Avesta Foundation NGO, made a complaint against it stating that the current signage of Myntra is “offensive and insulting to women.”

    The complaint was lodged with the Mumbai Cyber police. And the activist demanded the removal of the Myntra logo. However, Naaz before lodging the complaint said that she kept her opinion earlier on various social media platforms and forums. And now due to this complaint, the brand officials came for the meeting has decided to change the official logo on their website and app. Myntra is now working on this and the printing orders have been passed. However, the brand is yet to unveil the revised logo.
