Bollywood star Deepika Padukone who recently introduced her line of skin care products 82E (pronounced Eighty-two East).
The actress mentioned that it took nearly two years of relentless efforts to build the brand. “The joy of building something ground up is truly second to none,” she added.
The product ‘Ashwagandha Bounce’ moisturizer and ‘Patchouli Glow’ sunscreen drops were introduced in the opening event. This has been compiled by co-founder Jigar K Shah. The fans who were excited about exploring the fresh venture returned empty-handed. The sunscreen costs a whopping Rs 1,800, and the moisturiser is priced at Rs 2,700.
Fans were disappointed with the hiked prices while many claimed that actress Katrina Kaif did a better job in commencing and establishing a brand worth the price and of quality.
On the work front, the actor will be featured in Siddharth Anand’s action film ‘Pathaan’, with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The film will release on January 25, 2023. She has also Project K along with Prabhas and The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan on her pipeline.
