Amidst on going farmers protest social activist Anna Hazare has given his response. Making an announcement he said that if the union government will not sought out the matter by the end of January he will go on hunger strike, which would be his last protest. Taking about the same he said that it’s been three years and so far the government has not done anything and the issues in connection to the farmers are still not resolved.
Supporting the farmers congress leader Priyanka Ghandhi also tweeted saying “It is a sin use the kind of words they are using for farmers. Government is answerable to farmers. Government should listen to them and take the laws,” Talking about the Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, let us inform you that the agriculture minister said that a solution would be found to the stalemate over the new farm laws through discussions.
As many of us know that the protest has been going on due to the government new policies on agriculture and the farmers are thinking that it will effect their minimum support price. But the defense minister Rajnath Singh gave an assurance that there wouldn’t be any effect on MSP and no one would take the land from the farmers of vehicles only after the centre except their demand. Well it’s been overover a month against the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, the Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
