Mohit Suri is an Indian film director, most known for his film, Awarapan (2007). He has directed films like Murder 2 (2011), Aashiqui 2 (2013) Ek Villain Half Girlfriend (2017), all of which proved to be a commercial success.

In a recent interview with Mohit Suri, He has kept his point of view of remix songs. According to him, original songs must be supported more rather than remix songs, as it has more impact and lasts longer. There is an immense amount of talent in our country, says the filmmaker Mohit Suri, and people have the ability to create original music. I have heard compositions of so many young musicians and it’s really good. So, my personal stand on this matter is that we should definitely stand for original music, and leave something for next-generation so that they have songs to remix.
