Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is in trouble as an FIR has been filed against her. She is accused of doing a money fraud. She along with seven others accused of fraud amounting to Rs 37 lakh. Reportedly, a man named Pramod Sharma, who is an owner of a Moradabad event firm named India Fashion and Beauty Award, paid Sonakshi Rs 28.17 lakh in June. He paid the amount in four instalments through electronic transfer to Sonakshi Sinha to perform at the company’s award show in Delhi on September 30.
Apart from that, Pramod spent Rs 9 lakh more on the commission of two event companies associated with Sonakshi and in arranging for her accommodation and travel. However, even after getting the payment Sonakshi did not show up at the event. The company claims that Sonakshi’s absence has done a damage to their company’s reputation.
According to the media reports, the absence of Sonakshi at the event annoyed the audience so much that they vandalised the venue. Sonakshi Sinha even confirmed that she is coming to perform by releasing some promotional videos of the award show after accepting the payment. But she cancelled her plan at the eleventh hour.
