The couple’s first kid, a boy, was born on May 10, 2023, according to an Instagram post posted on Thursday by Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar. After getting married in December 2020, the pair revealed they were expecting a child two years later.
Gauahar shared the news on her Instagram, “Allahumma baarik fihi.” The message read, “It’s a Boy. As Salaam U Alaikum beautiful world, says our bundle of joy. Arrived 10th of May 2023 to make us realise what happiness truly means. Our blessed boy thanks everyone for their love and prayers. Grateful and giggling parents, Gauahar and Zaid.”
They received congratulations on their announcement from celebrities including Yuvika Chaudhary, Sameera Reddy, Mahhi Vij, Shweta Pandit, and Anirudh Sharma.
Zaid and Gauahar posted a cute video on Instagram in 2022 to announce the actor’s pregnancy. They shared a song with the lyrics, “One became two when Z met G and now the adventure continues as we soon become three! Gauahar & Darbar + 1, In Sha Allah seeking all your prayers and blessings in this new journey.”
For her time on Bigg Boss 7, which aired in 2013, Gauahar is most recognised. After leaving television, she made her movie debut in 2009 with Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. She had appearances in online series like Shiksha Mandal, Salt City, and Bestseller last year. In the most recent episode of The Most Eligible Singles, she debuted on Netflix as a host.
