In cue of the growing surge in Coronavirus in China, countries including India and the government have taken precautionary measures and have induced COVID-19 vaccine program for initiating booster doses. People can visit their nearest private or govt hospital and take the booster shot. While an appointment could be booked from the comforts of your home through the Aarogya Setu app.
The Aarogya Setu app just needs your Aadhar number and a phone number which is linked with the Aadhar and you are all set to go. The app is all available for both the Android and iOS users.
Once the app has been installed, you can create your account and get access to the COVID-19 vaccination certificates. Hereafter, follow the below mentioned steps to book yourselves for the shot.
- Sign in to your account
- Click on the icon which says Vaccination on the top of your mobile screen.
- If this is the first jab then a fresh account must be created otherwise it can be simply logged in through the existing Cowin account.
- Thereafter click on the booster dose schedule now option, choose the option for free/ paid dose, the center which can be done by selecting the nearest hospital.
- The schedule is set and your slot has been booked.
