Katrina Kaif disclosed about her plans in alignment for her next film Jee Le Zaraa, directed by Farhan Akhtar also featuring Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt in an interview with Pinkvilla. The actor mentioned that she will be taking all the products from her brand Kay Beauty and make Alia and Priyanka use them for the shoot.
During the interview, the actress also opened up about her love for makeup and this is how she came up with her idea of building a brand suitable for all skin types. The brand was launched back in 2019 and have garnered a good response by the buyers. The actress is now keen to make her co-actors choose her brand and use them while the trio shoot for the film.
“Jee Le Zaraa is something, which is a super exciting film. And on that film, I am going to be taking this whole range of makeup (from her beauty line) to the girls (Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra) and be like ‘Girls, now you have to use this’… We are all looking forward to it. I mean that film has had its journey, but I think, when finally it does happen, it is going to be a lot of fun,” Katrina averred in an interview with Pinkvilla.
Katrina also disclosed a lesser known fact that how she has done her makeup during the shoot for her films. The actor added, “Makeup for me has always been a passion of mine. Some girls are obsessed with handbags, some people are obsessed with cars, some people are obsessed with clothes, for me it has always been makeup. I have done a lot of my makeup in my films throughout my career. (In) some of my songs and movies, I have done the makeup on my own; it is only later now that I have started using some of the wonderful makeup artists that I work with…”
The Farhan Akhtar directorial, Jee Le Zaraa first glimpse was released in 2021, however the shoot hasn’t started yet. Meanwhile, Katrina is busy in promotion of her upcoming horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishan Khatter.
