Global Esports joyously claimed the BGMI Masters Series title, exceeding the hopes of their supporters. The team won 25 lakhs INR in prize money after scoring 201 points and 100 kills across 20 matches on three different maps. After Day 4, the team was in fifth place, but on July 17, they improved with a solid finish. Global Esports has now won 3 out of the 4 Esports Lan events hosted in 2022.
GodLike Esports lost ground to the winner after maintaining their position throughout the playoffs. The team won the runner-up award of 12 lakhs with 197 points and 103 kills in the championship match.
With 192 points, including 79 kills and three chicken dinners, Orangutan was able to take third place. Fan favourite Team Soul, on the other hand, had poor results the last two days and came in sixth place overall.
Jonathan won 50,000 in prize money as MVP of the championship game, and Team Soul was recognised as the fan favourite team.
