    People are celebrating Good Friday worldwide today amidst the lockdown imposed by the Coronavirus global epidemic. Christians in the community are remembering the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, without rituals and processions.

    Due to the closure of the church, people are celebrating Good Friday at home. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem has some clergy for the necessary rituals. The church is built in the same place as the Christians who believe that Jesus was crucified and then his body was buried.

    Every year millions of devotees from all over the world come here to remember Jesus. But this year the same could not happen. The flights’ are discontinuing to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection. Religious sites in this holy land are also close.

    In Rome, the cross procession of the Colosseum is the highlight of the holy week. People celebrate this before Easter. With large crowds of devotees, tourists, and locals. But this year it has been canceled. All public functions are close in Italy because of adverse effects by the Coronavirus. Around 18,000 people have died due to the Coronavirus in Italy and more than 88,000 people have died in the world due to this virus.
