According to the latest reports, France will be opening the Eiffel Tower again to the general public from 25th June. Therefore once again the people will be able to enjoy its beauty but under some guidelines and safety instructions.
The global Coronavirus caused pandemic effecting on everything. Amid of this, the sectors which were badly effective were the entertainment and tourism industry. But now it seems that many countries have started giving relief over the lockdown. Since the economy has collapsed due to the coronavirus worldwide. In view of this crisis, many countries are now in giving relief to lockdown in spite of increasing cases of the corona. Amid all this, there are reports that France that ranked number 12 among Corona-affected countries, with 1,53634 people vulnerable to Corona. Will soon be opening Eiffel Tower again to the general public from 25 June.
Safety and Guidelines
Although France also relaxed the lockdown from 15 May in view of the economic crisis. And now its the turn of Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower has been closed for so many days for the first time since World War II. During the lockdown, it was closed for approximately 3 months. Its operator said that for the first time since the Second World War, the Eiffel Tower remained closed for so many days. However, it will be mandatory for everyone above the age of 11 to wear a mask. And people will not be able to use the lift and elevator.
The Eiffel website further stated that keeping in view the social distancing, only a limited number of people will be allowed to enter every floor. This decision has been taken considering the risk of infection.The top floor will remain closed for now, as the lift coming up is not that spacious.
Meanwhile talking about the situation of the corona Pandemic in France. So far 154591 cases have been reported. Out of which almost 30 thousand people lost their lives. While 71506 has been cured.
