That’s a wrap on the 66th annual Grammy Awards! The award had everything. Held in Los Angeles it was full of excitement, drama, and even some tears. Dua Lipa kicked off the evening with an amazing performance, and the big announcement came later. Taylor Swift had clinched her fourth Album of the Year award for “Midnights.” It’s a lucky moment for all you ladies as the women ruled the Grammys this year with Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, SZA, and Miley Cyrus taking home the night’s major awards.
Taylor who is just 34 now holds the record for the most wins in this category, beating out legends like Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder, who each had three wins. Celine Dion presented Taylor with the prize. And that very moment Taylor took the opportunity to announce the release of her new 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, on 19 April. The award for album of the year was presented by Celine Dion, who had recently stopped performing due to having stiff person syndrome. She received a standing ovation.

In her acceptance speech, Taylor said she was ‘mind blown’ after she broke the record for most Album of the Year Grammy win. The singer said “I would love to tell you this is the happiest moment of my life but I feel this happy when I’ve finished a song,” she said. “All I want to do is keep doing this.”She went up on stage with fellow nominee Lana Del Rey.
