Whenever the word video game is heard, GTA without a doubt pops up in each and every gamer’s mind. Since GTA Vice City launched in 2002, the GTA series has been a sensation. Also, GTA V proceeded to become one of the best games of our time. Hence, GTA VI is exceptionally expected, and this expectation brings a lot of leaks and rumors.
GTA 6 Full Plot and Prologue
As per xfire, GTA 6 will have two protagonists in the form of a twin brother and sister. Apparently, similar to an old Bollywood film plot, they get separated following the homicide of their parents by the cartel in 2003. The prologue of the GTA 6 game will showcase this sad past occurrence that will happen in Brazil, and will start off the other rest of the events in the game.
As further reported, the male sibling turns into an agent for the DOA, which is fundamentally the in-game version of the American law enforcement organization, DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency). Simultaneously, his sister will look for revenge against the cartel for the murder of her parents in her own shady way. She will wind up working for the same Cartel and become their hitwoman of sorts. Then she’ll aim to slowly rise higher in the authoritative chain of the Cartel and take it on once and for all while punishing those responsible for her parent’s demise.
The brother will most likely go facing the sister’s cartel after the siblings will learn about each other the “hard way,” but the details for their meeting aren’t clear at this point. This to the side, the leaker described GTA 6 as the “first game in the industry to really dive deep into the cartel/military way of life.” It appears to be a classic frenemy cop gangster plot with a taste of Narcos added to it.
GTA VI Maps and Technology
As per the new leaks, the main campaign itself will be established at some point in time during the 2020s as the two siblings in the end get together as adults but on opposite sides. The main campaign will happen in the current day and primarily be set in the states, possibly also including Vice City map. Whereas the prologue, as referenced above, is described as being set in Brazil, South America and in the past.
The main game has been leaked to occur in different locations in an expansive map including, Cuba, Columbia, Vice City (Miami), and Carcer City. On the off chance that you are unaware, Carcer City, is basically GTA’s fictional version based on an extreme caricature of a Rust Belt city and is very near to the Liberty City (New York City). Some other leaked details point towards destructible buildings, and ambitious technology. Additionally, whether these two protagonists would be equally playable, still remains to be seen.
As for the release date, a 2024 release for GTA 6 has been leaked to be planned. Honestly, it seems like it may be able to make it by the end of 2024.
