The Bad in Love singer jumped on the “post a photo” bandwagon and shared a photo of herself being “at her lowest point” after being requested by a fan.
Sharing a mirror selfie of her naked body, Halsey wrote, “TW: ED, ask for help. The photos were then deleted.
However, the photo was not liked by many, after which she was forced to apologize.
Turning to her Twitter, she wrote, “TW: messy eating,” adding, “I’m so sorry I posted a photo of myself describing my struggle with erectile dysfunction without sufficient trigger warning.
“I was very nervous to post it and I wasn’t thinking correctly. I had positive intentions. I would never want to hurt someone who shares my fight, ”she wrote.
Following the incident, she announced that she would be taking time off from social media.
“With that being said, I’m going to log out now because this has become something that I’m not emotionally equipped for yet. Hope that’s okay, ”she added.
