Filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s upcoming sports drama ‘Chalaang is all set for its digital release. The film cast Rajkummar Rao & Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles.
Hansal Mehta‘s upcoming sports drama ‘Chalaang that was scheduled to hit the box office on June 12, 2020. Will now have a digital release. Earlier the filmmaker decided for its theatrical release, but due to the situation created by COVID- 19, it seems that now it will have digital release instead of Threatre release.
After Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi, Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming social black comedy film titled Chhalaang is ready to premiere on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. As the makers have decided to skip the theatrical release of the film. This film was originally titled ‘Turram Khan’ however they realized that the film has a much bigger meaning. So the makers decided to name it Chhalaang. Which was a socially relevant topic.
Plot of the film
The storyline of the film is based on sports and education. The actor essays the role of a physical instructor in a school, situated in a small town of Haryana. Who trains the school kids. At first, the film showcase that how the actor Rajkumar Rao’s character in the film shows that he is not serious about his job initially, but the occurrence of one event makes him realize how sports and education should go hand-in-hand. And this is what the film is based on and gives a message to everyone that both education and sports should go hand in hand and should be inculcated in every child.
