The internet is ablaze with discussion about Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan preview. One of the most watched movie trailers in a day, the video reached 100 million views in just 24 hours. Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, and Sanya Malhotra’s roles were also introduced in the trailer. However, many fans didn’t seem to be able to recognise television actress Ridhi Dogra in the video. On Twitter, the actor replied to the discussion.
Ridhi shared the preview of Jawan on Monday via Twitter. A supporter eventually enquired “Isme na sahi movie me to hai na @iRidhiDogra (You are not here but are you there in the movie at least?)” To which the actor replied, “Trailer main bhi hoon. (I am also there in the trailer) Only I know where.” Another added, “Even almost 30 times seen but i didn’t find you in a trailer.” Then Ridhi answered: “You saw SRK 30 times. Bas what else is needed.”
Earlier, Shah Rukh had lauded Ridhi her for her professionalism and ethics. “Thank u for being so sporting throughout the hectic shoot. Bless u”.
Shah Rukh Khan had posted the prevue of the film on Monday which gained humongous traction: “Main kaun hoon, kaun nahin, jaanne ke liye, READY AH (Who am I or who I am not, are you ready to know this)? #JawanPrevue Out Now! #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”
Nayanthara appeared briefly as a soldier in The Jawan Prevue, along with Deepika Padukone acting in a traditional dress and Priyamani brandishing a pistol. Vijay Sethupathi can be seen in the Jawan Prevue, but the women dominate the screen time. In the preview, Sanya Malhotra was also visible. It concluded with a scene from a Metro hijacking where a bald Shah Rukh was seen dancing to Beqarar Karke Humein.
Jawan, a movie directed by Atlee, features intense action scenes. Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh’s production firm, is in charge of its production. On September 7, Jawan is scheduled to premiere in theatres.
