It was allegedly disclosed by director David Yates in one of the Harry Potter reunion specials, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, that Watson had her doubts about continuing the series at one point.
Watson reportedly had a problem while Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was being filmed. She acknowledged feeling terrified and alone and said, “I think I was scared. I don’t know if you ever felt like it got to a tipping point where you were like, ‘This is kind of forever now.'”
