And the special thing is that this weekend Neetu Kapoor is set to be a part of ‘Indian Idol 12’. And the makers decided to play special videos during the show. The video is sent by actors like Rakesh Roshan and Jeetendra who were very good friends of Rishi Kapoor and have had a long-lasting friendship of 45 years. And spoke about the veteran actor Rishi Kapoor.
While seeing these videos, one point comes when his wife Neetu Kapoor could not control herself and she immediately broke down. As she recalled all those memories and thought how lively her husband Rishi Kapoor was. In the video, we can see, Rakesh said, “Rishi was an open-hearted and frank person. Our friendship lasted for 45 years and till today I feel his absence. In the true sense, he is an Indian Idol and I miss him a lot.”
On the sets, Neetu also shared her incident about falling in love with Rishi. She said that we both were shooting in different cities when he sent a telegram that read “Sikhni yaad aayi.” Saying that she couldn’t hold herself and literally broke off.
