After a proposed three-year contract deal is accepted by the board and members of the Writers Guild of America, the months-long impasse between the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the Writers Guild is finally expected to come to an end. Since May 2, there has been a labour dispute, during which authors have protested for fair pay and improved working conditions.

Fans are excited for this list of online series and films to reach the screen as the long-awaited moment slowly draws to a close. You don’t need to worry if you haven’t thought out how your upcoming binge-watching nights would go.

However, a settlement between Hollywood stars and the studios still hasn’t been reached. Along with the writers, SAG-AFTRA, which has 160,000 members, has been on strike since July. Production on written TV series might start in a matter of weeks, and fresh episodes might be prepared for airing by the beginning of next year, if the performers follow suit and reach a swift deal.
