But for quite a while, he is away from the screen. But this does not mean that the actor is not getting any projects. Bunty and Babli:
Yash Raj Films’ film Bunty Aur Babli was also offered to Hrithik Roshan. However, due to the non-performance of the previous film, the film went out of Hrithik’s hands. Later the film was offered to Abhishek Bachchan.
Rang De Basanti
According to reports, Hrithik Roshan refused to work in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s film Rang De Basanti. However, it is not yet known why Rakesh Omprakash did not have a conversation between Meha and Hrithik. The role was later played by Aamir Khan.
Swadesh
Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for the role of Mohan Bhargava in the film Swadesh. However, the latter did not materialize and the character was played by Shah Rukh Khan. The film gained a good response from the audience.
Main Hoon Naa
Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie “Main Hoon Naa” was first offered to Hrithik.However, Hrithik Roshan distanced himself from the story of the film and then the film proved to be good for Shah Rukh Khan’s career.

This movie was first offered to Hrithik Roshan, but after he said no for the film. The role was offered to Amir khan and Akshay khanna.
