Official reports have confirmed that the covers have come off and the umpires are having a critical conversation with the groundsmen to know how much time the new technology of SubAir system will take to suck the rain water.

SubAir system in the Chinnaswamy stadium will assist to suck the rain-water in very less time which is advantageous for the players and management who can perform once again with less issues of a “wet-stadium”

The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) decided to install the next-generation subsurface aeration and vacuum-powered drainage system from SubAir, USA at Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bangalore) after extensive research and technical evaluation, making it the first ever installation of SubAir Systems for Cricket stadiums worldwide.

The match is set to begin from 7:50 PM (IST) with 19 overs per innings as the rain interference has forced the officials to reduce one over per innings.

The covers came on before the match hardly began. As the teams walked out to start the game tonight but the clash was interrupted by just a drizzle.

The drizzles just get heavier and the teams have been informed to go back to their respective pavilions.

Bengaluru had been experimenting with overcast weather for some days and tonight the predictions were pretty possible for the rain to interfere with the series decider.

The game is set to be paused for a while and the ground has been entirely covered because of “too much rain”.

India is dominating the series by snatching away the momentum o which South Africa initiated.

The “winning-mantra” for the visitors seem to get lost after failing in the last two games which brought India back to the series and created today’s last T20 as the series decider.

Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy is famous for hosting some of the memorable matches for team India and tonight is going to be yet again a historic moment if the home side snatches the win.

Who do you think will take away the trophy tonight?

South Africa (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock(w), Reeza Hendricks, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, Tristan Stubbs, Dwaine Pretorius, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj(c), Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje

India (Playing XI): Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant(w/c), Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan
