Dinesh Karthik and Harshal Patel have managed to put on a decent score of 148 runs after India seemed to fall miserably in the last ten overs.
The last over by Pretorius was fortunately put up for a show as India managed to score 18 runs in the last over.
India will be disappointed with today’s batting performance but the bowling unit has the chance to make a comeback after what happened in Delhi.
Skipper Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya failed to perform and Axar Patel was sent before Dinesh Karthik to which the fans were shocked but Karthik proved his worth.
Dinesh Karthik smashed throughout his innings and significantly in the last over for which he waited patiently.
Cuttack crowd which hosted after years will be disappointed with India’s batting performance as the projected score was somewhere between 170 to 190 but the early wickets were a huge blow for team India.
Whenever a partnership was witnessed to go long, the Proteas took an advantage to bagged in the wicket. Dinesh performed well after not getting a worthy chance in the first T20 as he came in the last over.
India has managed to score 148 runs and South Africa will be taking on for an easy chase until the Indian bowlers have something else in mind.
