    IND vs SA: Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Rahul Dravid to land UK tonight

    Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and head coach Rahul Dravid have left for the United Kingdom following the conclusion of the India vs South Africa T20I series.

    The rescheduled fifth Test between India and England, which was originally scheduled for last year, will take place in Edgbaston from July 1 to 5. After a covid outbreak in the Indian camp, the game was postponed, and the Men in Blue now lead the series 2-1.

    Shreyas Iyer posted an Instagram story from inside the plane with his ‘partner’ Rishabh Pant. While Dravid was absent from the photograph, he has accompanied the Indian youngsters as they prepare for the fifth Test match against England, which will be followed by a three-match T20I series and an ODI series of the same number of games.

    India tied the series with South Africa after the game was abandoned due to bad weather and heavy rain. South Africa keeps their records of remaining unbeaten in the T20 series in India.

    The final clash has unfortunately been announced as “abandoned” after the rain does not seem to stop.

    The umpires on confirmed that the rains have a very light chances to get stopped and the minimum the match was being honoured by was 5-overs per side but it did not assist well to the situation out there.

    Fans are rightly upset at the Chinnaswamy Stadium as the trophy will be shared and more over no action will be witnessed despite the fans waited for overs 3 hours to watch the series decider.

    Indian captain Rishabh Pant would be upset to miss the chance to miss his maiden trophy on debut series as a skipper whereas South Africa will be disappointed by the nature’s action as the two quick wickets gave them an upper hand in tonight’s critical game.
