South Africa won the toss and chose the same decision as they thought in Delhi. Cuttack has a chance to witness India’s 21st 200+ score if the prime players in the top unit carry on with their performance.
“We will have a bowl first. We don’t know how the wicket will play. It was easier to bat second in the last game. You can chase anything with smaller boundaries. You need to stay in the fight as batters. We have two forced changes; QDK has a hand injury and Stubbs misses out, Klaasen and Hendricks come in,” says skipper Bevuma.
South Africa brings in some changes as Quinton de Kock’s hand injury puts him out of play tonight. Debuted in the last match Stubbs has to miss the second T20I as Klassen and Hendrick will replace the missed out players.
India goes with the same playing XI as Rishabh Pant considers it to be a strategical view and India too wanted to bowl first as the dew in the second innings can be bit of a problem tonight.
“We would have bowled first as well. The track is nice. We would want to have a big score on this. There weren’t many things we did wrong in the last game, just a bit of execution was off and we will do better today. We are playing the same team,” said Rishabh Pant.
