Rishabh Pant gave away his wicket cheaply to Keshav Maharaj in the second T20 and the Indian fans have a say.
Skipper Rishabh Pant witnessed Shreyas Iyer’s fierce batting against Shamsi in the ninth over and most probably tried to replicate when he witnessed Keshav Maharaj from the other end.
The crowd were waiting for Rishabh Pant to target on Keshav Maharaj and the very first delivery was intended to smash Keshav for a six.
Unfortunately the stepping out did not make much of a difference as Rishabh couldn’t connect well and gave away his wicket cheaply to Keshav’s very first delivery of the 2nd T20I.
Fans tweet with disappointment and frustration as they feel that Rishabh Pant should be dropped or maybe at least put to lower order.
The cricket analyst too criticised team India’s batting order as Rishabh’s early arrival cannot be of much help as the finishing role is what Pant is classified for.
Twitterati feels that Hardik Pandya should lead team India after understanding that he won his maiden IPL trophy as a player and fifth one as a player.
