Ishan Kishan continued to smash all the pacers as Bevuma’s strategical idea of calling in Pretorius fails.
Pretorius was called into the bowl the last over in the power play but got hit for an 80 meters six by Ishan Kishan who is playing in his 30s with a fierce performance.
Wayne Parnell got an opportunity to get hold of Ishan’s wicket when the miss-hit by Ishan on Pretorius’ delivery almost shocked the Indian fans but everyone was relieved at the end after Parnell couldn’t stick the ball into his hands.
It was a hard catch and Wayne Parnell being the athletic cricketer he is was at least able to reach the ball but a slight effort might have produced a huge difference.
The fans and South African teammates appreciated the efforts of Parnell.
India have been able to score 42 runs in the power play with the loss of one wicket and could have done better but Kagiso Rabada has possibly dominated his two overs to restrict the hosts at a minimal run rate.
