    India vs Pak Asia Cup 2023: India wins, Virat creates record!

    On September 11, during the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match against Pakistan, Virat Kohli scored his 47th ODI century, becoming the sixth player in history to surpass the 13,000-run milestone in one-day international cricket. India dominated the match at Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium because to Kohli’s stunning century, which included a number of accomplishments.

    On a make-up day of the game, which was hampered by rain, the 34-year-old great hitter needed just 90 runs to attain the 13,000 runs in ODIs. In 50-over cricket, Virat also scored his 47th century, closing the gap on Sachin Tendulkar’s 49-century record to just two hundreds. At one location, Kohli also made history by becoming the first player to ever score an ODI century in four straight innings.

    Following a hiccup with the start on Monday, Kohli and KL Rahul opened India’s innings on reserve day. India scored 356 runs for 2 in 50 overs thanks to the dominance of both hitters, who both scored superb hundreds. They also put together an unbroken 233-run partnership for the third wicket. Including a six on the last ball from Faheem Ashraf, Kohli concluded the innings with three straight boundaries. Rahul was undefeated on 111 runs off 106 balls while he hit 122* runs off 94 balls, both of which were outstanding performances.

    1. Sachin Tendulkar – 18426 runs in 452 innings
    2. Kumar Sangakkara – 14234 runs in 380 innings
    3. Ricky Ponting – 13704 runs in 365 innings
    4. Sanath Jayasuriya – 13430 runs in 433 innings
    5. Virat Kohli – 13000* runs in 267 innings

    Pakistan, however, lost their great bowler Haris Rauf to an injury today, and they were obviously affected.In Colombo, Kohli and Rahul caused havoc, and although Shadab Khan and Rauf each claimed one wicket, practically everyone had trouble keeping their economy rate under check.

    India won by 228 runs against Pakistan.
