The home side are powered with skipper Chamari who is smashing the Indian bowling unit as a loner and if not dismissed early, she can be the roaring performer tonight.

Chamari has easily reached 30 runs in just 17 balls and is looking to build up more after Sri Lanka gets an early 50 in just 6 to 7 overs.

Sri Lanka are 53/2 with Chamari scoring 30 off 17.

The already won series by team India is being played for another match as this will be the last T20I clash between Indian women and Sri Lanka women before the ODI race begins.

India has already won both the T20Is and has secured the series win. India has a lethal chance to whitewash the Sri Lankans, while the hosts will be looking for a consolation win.

Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur opted to bat first for the final T20I clash, allowing their players to play with less stress and naturally.

” We are going to bat, playing with the same XI. We can execute whatever we are planning in team meetings. Just to need to get more partnerships,” said Indian skipper Kaur.

“We would have bowled first if we won the toss. We trust our top-order batters but we are short of some 20 runs, which is why we lost the last game. 140 seems to be a good score to chase here,” said home side captain Chamari Athapaththu.

Sri Lanka Women (Playing XI): Vishmi Gunaratne, Chamari Athapaththu(c), Harshitha Madavi, Kavisha Dilhari, Nilakshi de Silva, Ama Kanchana, Anushka Sanjeewani(w), Oshadi Ranasinghe, Sugandika Kumari, Malsha Shehani, Inoka Ranaweera

India Women (Playing XI): Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Sabbhineni Meghana, Harmanpreet Kaur(c), Jemimah Rodrigues, Yastika Bhatia(w), Deepti Sharma, Pooja Vastrakar, Simran Bahadur, Renuka Singh, Radha Yadav
