Randeep Hooda plays supercop Avinash Mishra in the upcoming Inspector Avinash Jio Cinema series. Mishra refuses to wait for the court of justice to provide a decision. He administers his own label of bloody, violent justice on offenders and criminals. His persona turns into a lone vigilante who seizes control of the situation.
The late 1990s setting of the show is based on the real-life exploits of Uttar Pradesh policeman who is an encounter specialist. He states in the teaser, “I am a Shiv devotee. And I believe that fortune favours the brave. Mahadev!”
