The Journal claims that the US is moving quickly to station about a dozen air defence systems in the area.
According to Reuters on Monday, as it works to rescue additional captives and be ready for a potential larger regional conflict, Washington recommended Israel to postpone a ground invasion in the Gaza Strip and is keeping Qatar, a middleman with the Palestinian militants, informed of those discussions.
