Concurrently, Iran has said that three “Israeli spies” had been apprehended in a cooperative effort with the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. The three “spies” were allegedly of Iranian nationality.

- Four persons were killed on Sunday in southern Lebanon in an Israeli hit on a vehicle near the Israeli border between the towns of Aianata and Aitaroun, according to the state-run National News Agency (NNA). The deceased were reportedly a journalist’s relative. They were following the journalist’s automobile in their own vehicles when the event happened.
