Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have welcomed their first child which is a baby girl. They couple, earlier today arrived at the HN Reliance hospital. It’s full on bash for the Kapoors and the Bhatts who are blessed with an ounce of joy.
The couple reached the hospital in the morning hours while Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt accompanied them. In a conversation with ETimes, Mahesh Bhatt said, “Waiting for a new sun to rise. A fresh sparkling dew drop of life,” he had said.
When Alia opened up about her pregnancy, Mahesh Bhatt said, “Ah, my baby is going to have a baby! I am so happy for Ranbir and Alia. May our ‘tribe’ increase. And now I have to prepare for the most important role of my life: The role of a Grandfather. This is going to be a grand debut.”
Ranbir and Alia has been excited about this moment and has often been in loggerheads about how to raise the baby in the initial days. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Ranbir said, “Listen, books are not gonna teach us how we are gonna raise our child, let us experience it when it happens.”
