Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth were blessed with a baby boy on Wednesday night. As per the reports both the child and the mother is healthy and will be discharge soon this week.

Ishita and Vatsal first met on the shoot of TV show Rishton Ka Saudagar… Baazigar, thereby got married in 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The couple made their pregnancy announced earlier this year.

They had posted a picture at the backdrop on a beach and wrote, “Baby on Board.”

In conversation with Indian Express Earlier, Ishita had revealed that she would like to be a friend of her child than a parent. She mentioned, “Our generation, we weren’t as close to our parents while growing up. I think I really opened up to them when I was a teenager. But now, I see my niece, who is just nine, be a friend to my sister-in-law. They share an amazing bond and she comes up and tells her everything that happened in school. I want my child to also have that trust in me and they shouldn’t be scared to tell me anything. As a parent, of course you tend to be strict sometimes but I want to have that connection, where they know why I have said no to something. Today kids are really smart and I would always want to have an honest conversation with them.”

She also spoke about how she’ll get back to work and create a balance. “While I want to dedicate the first few months to my child completely, I do want to get back to work. I would like to bounce back soon but I don’t want to think about it much and pressurise myself. We will take each day as it comes.”

On the professional front, Ishita last appeared in Drishyam 2 and Vatsal Sheth was seen in Naagin 6 with Tejasswi Prakash.
