Actor Rasika Dugal has recently wrapped up her shoot for the Mirzapur season three, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Excel Productions. This Amazon Prime series has received critical appreciation from the viewers and is all set to launch the new season. The show is based on the dark underbellies of Uttar Pradesh where gang wars are prominent with illicit deal of weapon cartels.
The series starring Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Divyenndu, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Vijay Varma, Ali Fazal and Isha Talwar in the pivotal roles. Rasika Dugal opens up about her role in the show. She said, “Beena Tripathi has turned out to be one of the most interesting characters of my career”.
The 37-year-old further added that, “The Mirzapur cast and crew are like family – it’s almost like we have seen each other grow over seasons. I am going to miss being on the sets of ‘Mirzapur’ and collaborating with my favorite people. And eventually, of course, I am so looking forward to the response and reactions this season will get from its immensely loyal fans”.
Rasika Dugal was last seen in her latest Emmy-award winning series Delhi Crime Season 2, aired in Netflix. Through the garb of an IAS, she portrayed the role of Neeti Singh in the series. Her upcoming drama of supernatural genre, Adhura will be out soon. She has also a sports-based drama series Spike and a movie Fairy Folk in the pipeline.
