Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Drishyam which have serve to be a massive hit at the box office is up with the second part, bringing back the chilling experience of Vijay Salgaonkar and IG Meera M Deshmukh yet again. The crime thriller’s reprised version will star Tabu in a strong character. The actor also spoke about how difficult and challenging it has been for her to play the role of a cop.
The team has unfurled the trailer of Drishyam 2 which received immense love from the viewers. At an event in Mumbai during the trailer launch, Tabu opened up about her character in an interview with Pinkvilla. Stating that the role of IG Meera Deshmukh has been challenging for her to play, she also gave due credit to the writer who penned down this complex character with all dedication.
She was heard quoting that, “It’s one of my most difficult characters. I must give credit for writing this character. It’s very unusual for writers to write such a complex character.”
Drishyam 2 is the Hindi remake of the 2021 original Malayalam film, staring Mohanlal. The movie is directed by Jeethu Joseph.
