Actor Jacqueline Fernandez have given her reaction after the nominations list of Oscars 2023 was released. Interestingly her film Tell It Like a Woman’s song Applause has received a nomination for the Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards in the same line of events when RRR song Naatu Naatu got a nod. On Wednesday, the actor took to Instagram to post the news and congratulated the team. Applause has been sung by Sofia Carson and the music and lyrics are composed by Diane Warren.
Jacqueline who got featured in Leena’s short Sharing A Ride with transgender model Anjali Lama shared about how she was honored to be a part of it. “Beyond words right now (folded hands emoji). Congratulations to @dianewarren @sofiacarson for the Oscar nomination for Applause and making us all proud! It was an honour to be associated with this beautiful film Tell it like a woman alongside such esteemed artists! In her post, Jacqueline also congratulated the team of RRR who bagged the nomination. She further wrote, “Also big congratulations to Team RRR for Naatu Naatu nomination!!! My best wishes and love to the entire team and all the nominees (red heart emoji).”
Interestingly with this project, Jacqueline marked her debut in Hollywood.
