In the defamation trial between Johnny Depp (58) and Amber Heard (36), Johnny emerged victorious. In the process, the actor was represented by several lawyers. Among them is Kathleen Zellner, best known for her role in the Netflix series Making A Murderer, in which she represented Steven Avery. Now lawyer Kathleen reveals that Johnny is said to have actually first become aware of her through this show.
Kathleen revealed to Law & Crime Network that Johnny got in touch with her after watching the Netflix series. She said that he just dropped the voice mail at my office, as he wanted to talk to me. Johnny’s motive was particularly striking, which at the same time convinced her of his innocence right from the start. “It was clear to me that he was innocent after he explained to me, ‘I heard you say on Making A Murderer that you’re the last person who would represent a guilty person because they would find out.”, she described.
