Jungkook of BTS got himself into trouble. The K-pop phenomenon, who is now in Los Angeles, California, caused quite a commotion among fans when a few images and videos of him smoking went viral. In one of LA’s most popular dining establishments for celebs, Jungkook was seen on camera smoking outside. The ”Seven” hitmaker can be seen smoking while engaging in a light conversation with someone while sporting a relaxed all-black T-shirt and pair of jeans.
Even some internet users got into a fight, with one criticising the rapper for his conduct and the other defending him, after the photo sparked a controversy among his millions of admirers.
A fan wrote on X, ”The only thing I was not expecting, is JUNGKOOK smoking Like a teenager in the street, what is going on with you???” Another added, ”everyone be saying “it’s harmful just because it’s jungkook, you shouldn’t tolerate him smoking.”
Someone wrote, ”The only reason I find Jungkook smoking unbelievable is cause he begged his dad to stop out of fear, but things change, people change, everything change (I didnāt mean to do that but slay) and if he is, itās his voice, his lungs, his choice.”
Another wrote, “An adult man caught smoking in the 21st century? It’s the end times! Talk about his music! If he smokes, that’s nobody’s business!”.
The trolls who condemned Jungkook, the newest member of BTS, for drinking during his late-night live-stream sessions, got their revenge in July. Jungkook slammed the users and stated, āSome people would make fun of me and say, āyeah Jungkook is drunk and all.ā Yeah, so what? You donāt drink? Go ahead and talk about me every way you want, I donāt care. Like I said, I only care about the ones who care for me. If you donāt like me, go ahead and live like that. Thanks for the little attention you give me anyway.ā
On September 23 at Central Park in New York City, Jungkook is scheduled to play at the Global Citizen Festival 2023.
