Kalki Koechlin, Richa Chadha, and other actors such as Mallika Dua, Pulkit Samrat, and few others have raised a voice against the domestic violence that has occurred during the lockdown. Richa also shared a video with the prospect of telling people, that how they can manage their work in lockdown.
Amid lockdown, there has been a sharp rise in domestic violence and mental health issues. And with an effort to combat this Richa, an advisory board member of WIFT India, has started a campaign. Along with her, the other people that raised their voices are Kalki Koechlin, Amyra Dastur, Adil Hussain, and a few others. The campaign takes stock of the issues borne out of vulnerable mental health caused by the lockdown.
Also, Richa Chadda posted a video in which many celebs given the idea, how to manage the things during the lockdown, and how they have divided the chores of the house between themselves and their partner. The aim of the video was to highlight the emotional stress people are going through and how that often leads to several things including domestic violence.
Let us tell you that during lockdown loads of families are in stress, which has given a stark rise in domestic violence and mental health. Therefore to tackle this situation actors such as Richa and Kalki came forward to give helping hands for those going through this trauma. Through videos, they have given a message to everyone in society.
