Kangana Ranaut is on fire! After targeting Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for not taking a stand on politics, now she targets filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani. She accused him of making her pose in a satin robe without undergarments for a film’s photo shoot.
In an interview with Mid Day, Kangana revealed that while she was auditioning for movies during the start of her career, she was asked to do a photo shoot wearing nothing but just a satin robe. It was for a Pahlaj Nihalani film.
Kangana told that the film’s name was I Love You Boss. During the audition, the film’s casting team gave her a robe to wear without undergarments. She said, “So I just had a satin robe for a show-girl pose, from which I had to stick my leg out, coming out of darkness.”
She added, “They should at least have given some tapes. I was supposed to play a young girl lusting after her middle-aged boss. So it was a soft-porn sort of character. And I had this epiphany that I can’t do this.”
However, she did the photoshoot but left the film right after it. She changed her number and meanwhile, started giving auditions for other films and luckily got an offer from Anurag Basu for film Gangster in 2006.
On the other hand, Pahlaj Nihalani also hits back at her for revelation against him. He said,
“I had spent one-and-a-half crore on that picture advertisement and shot for three songs. She did the reading post the photo shoot, but with my advertisement and the poster, she got Mahesh Bhatt’s film Gangster and backed out of my film as she requested me to let her do Gangster as we were under a three-movie deal. She should not play with me, otherwise, I have a lot of things to play with her.”
On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen next in Mental Hai Kya, opposite Rajkummar Rao.
