Kannada actor Ragini Dwivedi has been summoned by CBB in a drug case. The actress can probably appear on Monday for further questioning.
As part of an ongoing police investigation into the use of drugs by celebrities. A popular name has surfaced. Which is Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi. After the actress was found having her connection with drugs. Central Crime Branch (CCB) has sent a notice to the actress. Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch), said that she along with Ragini her friend Ravi Shankar also has to appear at the CBB on Monday.
Although the CCB headquarters in Chamarajpet asked them to appear on Thursday to question them about any links they have with drugs peddler. But Ragini did not mark her presence and took to her Instagram story to clarify the reason behind her absence. Giving clarification, she said “I am grateful for all the concern expressed by the public about a notice I received yesterday. As I received it at very concise notice, I was unable to appear today before the CCB police. However, out of respect for the process of the law, my advocates have presented themselves before the police, have explained my difficulty in not being able to appear today and have sought time.”
Actually the things in connection with drugs came out. When film director Indrajith Lankesh blew a whistle about the actors allegedly consuming drugs in the industry. Therefore the investigating team started their interrogation about the actors who are consuming it.
