Yes, you read it right! She debuting with Ranveer Singh starrer 83. But she is debuting as an assistant director and not as an actress in the film. She will help film’s director Kabir Khan during the shoot of the film. Film 83 will be based on India’s historic win of Cricket World Cup in 1983. Famous director Kabir Khan is directing the film.
Former cricketer Sandeep Patil’s son Chirag told that they met Amiya while working on the film’s script. Chirag says, ‘since the day she entered our direction team, she stays present daily during our training session. She also tells us to attend every important meeting. Whenever we went to Kabir Khan’s office she was always there and was always available for every planning-schedule.’
Kapil Dev is also giving training to actor Ranveer Singh. The training schedule the unit of team 83 will be held at Dharamshala. After that, it will head to Scotland and London. The film is scheduled to release next year in April 2020. Sandeep Patil’s son Chirag and Tamil star Jiva will also star in the film.
