It was in the year 2000 when the Bollywood gave India the two superstars – Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor. While Hrithik Roshan debuted with blockbuster film Kaho Na Pyar Hai, Kareena Kapoor went on to make a debut with junior Bachchan Amitabh Bachchan with film Refugee, it was a flop but Kareena Kapoor’s successful career has nothing to do with it.
Well, to let you know, firstly Kareena was all set to make an entry with Hrithik Roshan in the film Kaho Na Pyar Hai, a few of the sequences of the film were also being shot. But she left the film in between after her mother Babita insisted her to make a debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan who was her sister Karisma’s fiance back then and a son of a superstar.
However, after Hrithik became an overnight sensation, Kareena started dating Hrithik when they were paired opposite each other for Yaadein. She knew Hrithik was dating Suzanne that time but that didn’t stop her. This mighty upset Suzanne as Hrithik was cheating on her. Suzanne’s father Sanjay Khan is rumoured to have called up Rakesh Roshan and threatened him with dire consequences if Hrithik leaves Suzanne for Kareena.
It is rumoured that Sanjay and Feroz Khan had ties with Dawood Ibrahim. Hrithik feared for his father’s life, especially post his near-death incident. He had no option but to break up with Kareena.
